Windows 7x64 Simcity 4 crash EA screen. [SOLVED]

hello, i'm new here. anyway, i downloaded you simcity 4 deluxe, i followed the instructions at the guide and played it just fine. but the next day when i open the game, it just got stuck at the ea screen then brings me back to the desktop. i tried the fixes at the internet(cpu count) i use multicore system. what do i do?

here's my dxdiag info if you need it

Hello theneedy and welcome,

Try this: open the "start"-menu of Windows 7. At the botom where it says "Search for program" type cmd and wait until it shows up in the start menu. If it shows up, right-click on it and choose "run as Administrator".

Now, be very careful, and type the following into the next window:

bcdedit.exe/set nx AlwaysOff

Type it exactly that way; and then hit enter again. You should get a "success" message. If you do, please re-boot the computer. And then re-start the game. See if anything improved.

yes yes. it's solved. after a session, i shut down. then when i came back, its square one again. i tried doing your suggestion to solve it but im not so lucky this time. help!

Sorry, but you do EXACTLY what I described above ? And did you also re-boot the computer after that ? Also, try un-installing the game and re-booting the computer. Then re-install the game and see further.

yes sir i did exactly what's on the screenshot. but no thanks anymore. the game is working all right now thrice in a row. so thank you thank you very much.
