Hello. I've installed The Sims 3 and several expansions on my desktop, windows 7, and it runs perfectly, and now I'm trying to install the exact same thing to my friends laptop, windows 8, and it crashes about 1/4 the way through the process of starting any new city. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

List of installations:
Sims 3 Base game
World Adventures
Ambitions
Generations
Late Night
Town Life Stuff
Fast Lane Stuff
High End Loft Stuff
Outdoor Living
Pets
Showtime

Specs:
amd a10-4600M
8gb ram
integrated graphics card
Widows 8

I don't think Windows 8 supports The Sims 3 if I have not mistaken.

Here are the system requirements:

I have windows 8 and no problem playing my sims games (have all the expansions). Not sure what is causing your friend's problem--have you removed all mods and custom content?

Hello,

There can be conflicts with windows 8, and I wonder if that integrated graphicscard is supported. Let your friend run the tool on this website to make sure.
Also, make sure all hardwaredrivers are up to date and have a look here if everything else checks out.
