Simport Help...freezing entire game.

Hello,

So I'm having a problem using Simport. I outright bought the base game years ago when it first came out and it's registered to my account. However I am using G4TW version of The Sims 3 Complete Collection.
I'm logging into Simport using my account that has the base game registered so there is no problems there. The problem I am having is I'm only able to use Simport once per play session. The first time I open it I'm able to go to all the tabs and accept request but if I close the window and try to reopen it a second time the whole entire game will freeze. I loose everything because I'm not able to save. I've tried to update to the game but the game is already completely updated. I used The Sims 3 Ultimate fix to make sure everything was fine there yet it still keeps freezing. Don't know what else to do. Like I said it's the second time during a single play session that it will freeze the entire game without notice.

Any Suggestions?

Thank you for responding. It has never worked fully for me. I cleared all my caches. I even asked my Simport friends and they aren't having the same issues as me. They are having their own issues but it's mostly just lag and slow loading. I just started using Simport so I was excited to try it out now not so much lol. I'll try your suggestions and get back to you if it's not working.

EDIT: Still not working. I thought the 4gb patch worked but it's still doing the same thing. I reapplied the update and it said I already had it. I also cleared all my caches... it was working fine for a little bit now acting up again same thing. No error message and not closing just frozen there.

Is it at all possible I need to open ports on my router? Just a thought but I haven't seen anything on this threw my searches. I wouldn't think so since I can use it successfully one time per game play.

EDIT: Reinstalled entire game on main drive instead of secondary drive applied all the patches including the 4gb patch and I'm still having the same problem.

EDIT: I set compatibility to run as administrator (didn't think I needed to because I am the administrator account already on this computer) so far it seems to be working. I haven't tested it over a long period so I don't know for sure if it's a permanent fix.
