setup1.cab issue?

Well I've extracted the RAR file with an app called mZIP, and I began to install The Sims. Unfortunately, it came up with this;

Hello and welcome to the forum g3mstone,
Issues like that are usually fixed by using the program WinRAR for extracting contents of a .RAR file. You can also get it from Games4TheWorld, here (install instructions are included, of course):
http://games4theworld.org/downloads.html
These issues may be due to the fact that we pack our downloads with the program WinRAR. So users will probably need to use the same program for UNpacking the stuff then. Good luck for now !

Thank you for answering! However, as I am really dubious when it comes to downloading .exe files, can I be assured that winRAR is safe to download&run on my laptop? It told me to download ''keygen.exe'' and apparently it's dangerous

There is a keygen included in our download of WinRAR yes, and you will need to temporarily de-activate your anti-virus program(s), so that the keygen doesn't get deleted.
Many keygens and cracks nowadays are detected as "virusses", but that doesn't have to mean anything.
In this case though, you can trust Games4TheWorld that ALL downloads are safe to use.
And in case you don't trust us, then get yourself the free trial version of WinRAR (google for it). That should do as well. Just make sure to use the program WinRAR for extracting, and that's all.

i have the same problem and i use winrar i have try too make it to a iso file but can get it to work pllllz help
