how to update to latest version

I have 1.2.16.10 version of sims4. and i already downloaded the latest ultimate fix, but I can't seem to update it to the latest version. After clicking the setup in the ulti fix it has 3 choices "modify, repair, remove". tried choosing the modify but still not updated.

I downloaded the fix here March 20. I only download in this forum..

I'm not sure what you did, but there is no "installer" in our Ultimate fix. You must extract all contents of the .RAR file, into an empty folder at first. And then, you COPY all the extracted stuff (from the folder).
Next, you need to paste the stuff, into your "The Sims 4"-folder, in C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts. When prompted, select "copy and replace", for all files. And that is it, normally.

I have been using the ultimate fix including outdoors since January, To update do i just redownload the ultimate fix to update the sims including the basement update?

Please note that the current Ultimate fix does NOT include this basement update yet.
We may release a new Ultimate fix, when time comes.
