Saving Lots Not Working Anymore?

When I first downloaded the game, I could create lots and save them to my library for future use. I just tried to do that several times and it's not showing in the library file. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for it?

Hello,
Are you using Games4TheWorld's game ? And are you using mods or other custom content ?
Did you change anything about your game before this stopped working ?

I'm using the same mods I've always used. This is the second time I've installed the game though. The first one stopped working before the last update.

I have to same problem. I read about it online and there is said that you need to tick a box in the advanced section in your library. But the catch is you need to be online.
I downloaded G4TW's Sims 4 copy. So now I am scared to go online. Is there a way to bypass the online thingy?

Yeah...I just realized that nothing actually is saving to my library, not even my sims. The only thing that saves are things I've downloaded from other sites.

same here! i've been making sims with my mods and cc, as i was before, now they're no longer saving to my library 
but even before this started happening, newer sims stopped saving to my library and only coming up in the 'Home" tab under recent households, but not to my gallery like my older sims

That's what I suspected.
Please either remove all those mods, or look on the internet if there are UPDATED versions of all these mods. After which you try the game again.

I was having this problem too.
You need to check the "Online Access" box in the game options (under "Other"), just stay in offline mode when it asks, then the Advanced options will show up in your library where you need to tick in the box for "Include Custom Content", then all your saved stuff should show up.

Thanks for responding. I tried checking the box and it didn't save. I've also already done updates on my mods. It used to save with all the mods in place it just doesn't now.

That's weird... sorry it isn't working. For me (and I do use a bunch of game tweak mods and CC), it's that everything is saving to the library, but it just doesn't show up there at all unless I enable Online Access, which for some reason makes the Advanced Options > Include Custom Content option show up in the library (which doesn't show at all without that Online Access enabled), and once I tick in Include Custom Content, all my saved stuff then shows up at that point. The Include CC box doesn't seem to stay checked in all the time, but just enabling again still has things show up once more. I don't know why it isn't working for you.

By chance, do you have the (freely available) Sims 4 CAS demo on the Origin account that you use for connecting to the gallery ?

Sorry for the delay, wasn't able to get back to this. I do have the Demo but I don't use it. I'm trying to save lots and sims through the actual game. Also, is it actually safe to be online while playing?

If you "stay online" when loading a savegame, it's going to remove the DLC from your savegame. So don't do that. As for the actual issue, have you tried navigating to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 and deleting the localthumbcache.package ? Then re-start the game and see if you notice any improvements.

Does anyone actually know what the exact problem is or are we all just guessing here? Because I was totally able to save households and see them in my library before I got the ultimate fix.
It has nothing to do with CC at all and I didn't even have Origin installed when I made my first 2 households (Flynn and Soto). Seems like the last one I was able to save was one I made while I was still online in Origin (Vaughn) and yes I made sure it was completely closed and signed out before loading a game. I just went to do the same thing and realized that I can't even connect to Origin now, though I'm gonna blame the new patch for that since that's a brand new issue I'm having.
For now what I've done is make a save file full of empty lots for me to save Sims in then share them to the gallery through CAS when the new fix is ready.

Well, you can imagine that EA doesn't want anybody to be able to enjoy a pirated game, so it could as well be that saving lots doesn't work anymore. I myself haven't gotten to test it (yet), though...
