Sims 3 "insert disk" error

Please read this guide here, and (re-) do the steps from #2 to #5. That should explain everything you need. 

As for the "script" error, you will only get that when you use this "launcher", but it doesn't happen all the time. You can also start the game "directly" without the launcher, by making a shortcut to the desktop from the TS3W.exe file, in your base game location (usually C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin). Please re-read the guide and repeat the steps.   If it doesn't work, it means you did not do something correctly. When doing step 5 for instance, please make sure to copy the files from the Ultimate fix (TS§W.exe and TSLHost.dll) to the base game location. Usually in C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. And make sure to select "copy and replace" for all files, when prompted.
