Sims 4 Crashing Problem
Um, okay, hello so I'm having problems again with my Sims 4 game and I'm not entirely sure what's wrong. So, I put the new 'Get to Work' files (from this site and following the instructions closely) onto my game in hopes that I wouldn't have to have Origin open to play Sims 4 (and I'd finally be able to use the Outdoor Retreat stuff), and I deleted Origin before staring my game (after I replaced my old Sims 4 files) just to make sure. So... The game started up fine , relatively... Then I got a notice that Sims 4 had stopped responding. Figuring it was just because of the update and the files being new to the game, I let it do its thing for a few seconds. Soon after, it forced me to close the program. I went into the game again after checking my files, and the same thing happened. I restarted my computer, and the same thing happened. I re-downloaded Origin, and the same thing happened. I've already gone through all of the fixes and what not's on this forum and nothing is working. Please help...

Hello and sorry for the belated reply,
You can find this option in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings. Choose the setting that I marked with an arrow in the screenshot. The click on "Apply and then on "OK".
Now re-boot the computer ! After the re-boot, play on and see if anything improved. Good luck !

Re: Sims 4 Crashing Problem
Thanks for the reply, but I found a more recent post in the fixes section for certain CAS CC items making the game crash, and fixed the problem. Very happy to say the game is working fine now, with GTW and OR.
