Sims 4 avast PUP. [SOLVED]

Avast is detecting the TS4 file has a pup and virus total says it is a pup too.
Is this a false positive?

If you are using the G4TW version then yes it's false. You can add it to your exceptions list and you'll be fine

Please note that cracks of modern games are almost always recognized as "virusses" by anti-virus programs, but that doesn't necessarily mean the cracks are virusses indeed.
