Sims 4 fails to open. [SOLVED]

Hi so I'm experiencing an issue with my game currently where when I try to open it, nothing happens. To be exact, upon clicking the shortcut on my desktop nothing happens. I've gone directly into the game files to open TS4.exe and the same result. This also occurs when I've tried to run as adminstrator.

So far I've deleted and reinstalled Get To Work as well as applied the Ultimate Fix, and still no change. The only reason I can think that would cause this is that I had just added a ton of custom content to my game and when I went to play is when this issue arose. I deleted all of the unknown newly downloaded content, only keeping the ones that I had previously downloaded content from the same maker.

Does anyone else have any idea of what I can do to fix this issue? Will this require unistalling my game and if so is there a way to keep all of game data?

Regardless I've completed all of your instructions and still no change, when I try to open  my game nothing happens. It's as if I never clicked or anything the way in which when I attempt to open my game there's only a short moment of loading cursor and nothing happens.

Update! I've solved the problem by removing most of my custom content and now my game is working fine!
