Error Message: "This archive is either in an unknown format or damaged".[SOLVED]

Hey, so installed WinRAR 400, and everything seemed to go okay. I did the Single PC Usage license, and it said that it was successfully written. Now when I try to save Town Life Stuff and open it in WinRAR it's coming up with the error message: "This archive is either in an unknown format or damaged". I'm wondering what I did wrong.... Am I supposed to be opening it with WinRAR or saving it and then trying to open?

It sounds like the download of the archive is incomplete.. I would choose to 'save' when starting the download and then opening it from my storage once finished..
How many times have you tried downloading it?

This error means that the .rar file you've downloaded is either corrupt or not done downloading yet. Are you sure the download is already finished, before actually opening it?
If yes, then I'm afraid there must have been an error during the download -process. The only thing you can do in this case is re-downloading the .rar file, I'm afraid.

The thing is I'm not too sure how to do it using WinRar. I used uTorrent for the base game, and it seemed to install just fine. I didn't apply the crack yet because I wanted to download the expansions. When I have the option to Open or Save the file, which should I do? If I open it, should I open with WinRar? Or if I save it, what're the steps from there?

Sorry for the questions that probably have an easy answer, I'm just really new to this whole thing so I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to be doing yet. Instructions would probably help.
