How to see all posts of the forum in chronological order (one queue)?
Please, accept my apologies in advance if I sound too dumb...
I have read a suggestion, as a mod, that I should overlook everything that's posted, so we can censor, answer etc (no problems here).
But, I have a question here: How can I watch a list of all posts in such an order? I knew of a search of "unanswered posts" (the one I actually used mostly until "a couple of minutes ago"?), "posts since my last visit", "Today's active posts", "Top 20's" etc, but no view for "all posts".
Should I just browse topic by topic manually as I did ages ago, or is there an easier way for me to see "everything" on a simple, single, neat line?
Thanks a lot for understanding, I really want to be able to "watch over" as I am supposed to, but I feel that I still need to learn how.
Meanwhile, I'll have some tea to digest my "fat free" french fries (testing an air fryer, yay!).

Maybe it would be easier if you and SeoY agreed to somehow split the forum sections, so that each has his own "area of watch" ? It would have the advantage of making the posts to read/sift through smaller, for each.
Also, as I said earlier, the option "view unanswered posts" should be viewed carefully. But it can also help a bit.
In general, yes, you should sift through the topics "manually", and you can orient yourself on the "shining" forum logos every time you log in, that show new posts.

Re: How to see all posts of the forum in chronological order (one queue)?
Most of the time I use the logos that 'light up', showing new posts in that section. But as sometimes I experience a bit of a bug where all of the new posts are marked as read (even if I didn't read anything), I also use "Today's active topics". Very useful in that regard.
As a last resort, there's also checking the date of the last post of every section (on the right), and if there was a post since I last logged on, then I check that section out. The same can be done for individual posts.
I agree that something like a list of posts in chronological order would be very useful. But at the lack of that, these methods work just fine. I've grown used to them now.

I don't know that there is such a list, I would just work with the "new posts" icon and "today's active", especially if you're going to be on every day. I don't think you'll miss much that way.

That happens when you log out and back in or if your IP changes (and your session is registered as a "new" login).SeoY wrote:But as sometimes I experience a bit of a bug where all of the new posts are marked as read (even if I didn't read anything), (...)
Or... if you've been gone for a very long time.
Does any of that apply to you?

Not the one about being gone for a very long time.
The change of IP does apply to me very frequently, yes. And I have the Forum set to log me in automatically so I don't know if that would count as a new login. Still, it seldom happens, so that's not that big of an issue.

Thanks a lot for the answers!!!
I thought that I was dumb and not seeing something obvious in front of me.
As SeoY said, the "not read" icons are a bit buggy (even looking great, thanks to Carlos), so I know I can't trust them, specially since sometimes I come to look for private messages only, or just have time/energy to read/reply to a topic or two.
I find out that there are miles for me to be read, even in the special ranks areas, but I will do my best to see what I can do.
In the past I used only the "unanswered" topics, but then I was wisely warned that it's not a good idea, since the user may reply to himself to bump or update a topic, or someone else with "same problem" might post a "reply"...
I will keep browsing topic by topic, and "jumping" the ones who's last reply is from a MOD, helper or Admin, since they are probably taking care of the issue anyway.
When I have more time, of course, i will take a look at those too, since we never know how we can contribute around to topics being already discussed.
I wish you all a great day! And have good news about facebook, I believe I replied to all (newer than a month) messages and got to archive everything as well, so the inbox looks empty, finally (let's hope it works like that). I love the feeling that "all cases are closed or not pending in our hands"...

The Facebook Page is overcrowded, but we don't have enough people to take care of it. (While it's a great and direct way to stay in touch with the Community!)

Maybe you want to add me to the facebook team again Admin. My Lady ElDi account has been closed though, so you'll have to add my regular one. I believe only the rest of the team can see my actual facebook account? If that's the case, I'm OK with that. My profile is pretty much private, and so are most of the posts I put on it.
I may not have a lot of time, but I might be able to help out on facebook now and then.

I'll do that, thanks Lady.
Indeed, only the other team members are able to see who's in the group.
