Game won't start no matter what I do

Hello everyone,

First of all: you can see the title, but I do want to make clear I have had the game working in the past with no problems whatsoever. I used to run windows 8 (64) bit on an MSI GX60 gaming laptop and it did all of the expansions and stuff packs i wanted, plus mods, store content and custom content without many issues. Maybe lagging and slowness and... one reinstall because I messed up myself. 

However, I have updated to windows 8.1 about half a year ago and thought that with the summer here (and the rain...) I would install it again. This time I wanted one of the only two missing expansion packs as well, World Adventures. I installed everything as Games4TheWorld suggests (just google for 'how to install the sims 3 correctly' and you'll find it) and it did not work. I installed it on my G (game) drive though in stead of my C drive, unlike last time. So I tried to reinstall it on my C drive, but it still didnt work. Reinstalled it without World Adventures. Still did not work. 

I have ran in compatibility mode for Windows XP service packs 2 and 3, Vista service packs 2 and 3, windows 7 and windows 8, with and without administrator rights, cleared cache (though because it was the first startup every time (kind of) there was not much cache to clear), bypassed and no bypassed launcher, DEP tweaks for ALL exe files for The Sims 3 and all its expansions and stuff packs, I have restarted a few times, disabled my virusscanner, cleared my system with windows' own cleaner AND CCleaner + CCleaner's  registry cleaner (after making a backup of the registry first), tweaked settings for my up to date video card driver (AMD Radeon HD 7970M 2GB Dedicated Dual Graphics) back and forth, tweaked all of the following options in the options.ini file:

enableinteractiveloading = 0

None of this has worked. Maybe I have tried some other fixes too, but I've been going at it for 3 days now and I can't remember everything. Oh yeah, I completely updated my system through windows update and perfomed an aggressive system scan with bitdefender, too, before shutting it down and after starting it back up, because shutting it down did not work.

So... I'm at my whit's end here. I seriously do not know how to get this game to start. The launcher pops up fine. It asks for permission for some scripts to run, with i have both denied and accepted, even though those are just for the launcher itself, I have allowed and denied a store update, I have installed the latest manual version patch and ultimate fix crack (as explained by games4theworld and as I did months ago when the game still worked fine). After I click play, the screen goes black to load. It has always done that, but now after either seconds or about one minute, it varies, the crash happens and I get 'The Sims 3 has stopped working'. Like I said, with and without the launcher. but I just wanted to make clear what happens. Then it forces me to close the program and that's that.

Can ANYONE help me? Obviously reinstalling everything AGAIN is not going to help... but then what is? I really don't know at this point.

And if you really want to know my specs, windows 8.1, 64bit, AMD A10-4600M CPU, AMD Radeon HD 7970M 2GB Dedicated Dual Graphics (with AMD Radeon HD 7660G, which is usually the one listed as recognised on its own by many programs, including TS3), 2x 4GB RAM, 750 GB HDD with 3 partitions and I think that should be it, or is something else needed?

Like I said thanks in advance and I really hope someone can help me out here. Reverting back to half a year in the past with my backup image is not going to happen for just a game :p
