Unable to update to the latest verison of TS4

So, I had to delete The Sims 4 off of my computer because when I updated to Windows 10 it wouldn't open up my mod folder, it would just freeze are restart the windows explorer. So I uninstalled the game and deleted the existing folders it had created (the one in "My documents" as well as the one in "Program files(x86)". Once I reverted back to Windows 8.1 I reinstalled the Sims 4, then the GTW expansion pack provided by games4theworld, as well as the ultimate fix. However, the game does not update, but it still runs. I followed the installation guide and everything.
Does anyone know what the possible problem is?

Please, follow the instructions in the VIDEO below and download the stuff from the link in its description at YouTube.
It is more up to date and it should work. Let us know if you need further assistance or if you got your game working. Thanks!
