So I tried this and it's still not working. Does it matter if I just copy and pasted my CC from a download folder and added it to the Mods folder?

If your mod needs unzipping, then it doesn't matter, as long the .package is in the mods folder, it should work. I cannpt garuentee that all your CC will work, as some doesn't with the pirated game..

What if I installed the sims right into program files (x86) instead of electronic arts, would that make any difference to the mod folder or does it not matter?

The Mods folder, in your My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 shouldn't have been moved.
The only folder that should've been moved is Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4.
If you moved the correct folder, then no, it doesn't affect mods at all Smile

Okay, I'm starting to feel like a real pain in the butt.. I have all of my CC in the correct folder and everything is perfect. When I start my game up, it will usually bring up a list of the CC right? Well, it doesn't do that. I go to the options and where it says something about "script mods" or whatever, check the box.. there's still nothing that shows up in that folder that's in the game. No CC what-so-ever. I really can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.. I have almost 2,000 items and none of it works lol.

About the question at hand, are you absolutely sure you put your CC into the correct location ? That is:

C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
