First topic message reminder :

Hi guys, Im having problem with sims 4, I have followed the video on how to install everything up to spa day, I have been installing and uninstalling for 4 times. I dont know what's wrong, before spa day everything works fine. "origin is currently not running" if i click on sims 4 icon. If i slect it from the menu, it crashes. Please help me :'(

Assuming that you really configured your anti-virus properly, download this, and copy + paste the files into the Game\Bin subfolder of your Sims 4 install location. Replace all existing files when prompted.

Then re-run the game.

Why is it 'not working' ? I can download it just fine (in Chrome). Try using another browser, or press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE in your browser. In the next window that comes up choose "delete cache" and "delete cookies". Delete the stuff, then close the browser. Then try again.

Maybe I'll also re-upload it to MEGA if it really doesn't work for you.

Unfortunately I don't have enough time these days for more comprehensive (TeamViewer) support. But feel free to wait for someone else's comment on this.

And yes, a windows re-install means to format the computer.

If you format (I guess I already mentioned it, but I'll repeat it), please do NOT install any anti-virus or anti-malware software. That's very important. And when exactly did you format your computer - was it before you opened the topic here, or sometime in-between, when we were already giving suggestions ?

Sorry again that you're having a hard time with the game, but...it is indeed very difficult (for the average person) to handle these modern cracks. It's not like in TS3 anymore, where you just copy and paste, and play on happily...

before if im not mistaken, i was having some problem with my touch pad, they format it. i was happily playing the sims 3 before, after the format i tried the sims 4. i guess i have to play the sims 3 for now

ive tried redoing it using sims architect latest video, and it worked!
idont know why though
