My Game wasn't saved?

Hello.

I'm having a problem with my Sims game. I've been working on my family for a very long time, and all of a sudden I get on today and when the game started.. it started from almost the very beginning of when I started to play the game. So just to give more infromation, I had 3 adult sims, they've all had family and grown up, and had kids too, now I get on and one is a teenager, the other 2 are young adults and their husbands/kids disappeared!!! It just feels very frustrating after all the work I put into it.

Navigate to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves. Make sure to right-click in the window, and select "view -> details", so that you can see the date of modification next to each file.

What do you see there ? What is the "date of modification" of the latest file, and does it match with the last time you played the game ?

Thats the problem. I dont got a saves folder.. I keep having missed folders in my directory and I dont know why...
I dont know if you remember the last time you helped me, but I did not have some folders either. I just keep not having all of them /:

Sorry, but I am not regularly active on the forum anymore. Please refer to the notice on my visitor messages board (link is in my signature). Note that we can't get back to all messages, sorry if that upsets you.

But I don't feel like I can say that much about your issue anyway. Are you even looking in the correct location ? C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves.

If your savefile seems to be damaged, you'll have to start afresh again. In general and for the future, please, make sure that you actually BACKUP your whole folder "The Sims 4", from Documents\Electronic Arts, regularly. That way, if things go wrong, you have a backup at hand, and don't need to start over.

I just joined a while ago, guess this Forum staff isnt as active as before.. but I can understand if they can't get back to all the messages, would just be great if someone would reply and explain that there is some delay with the answers. It doesn't upset me at all.

Yes I am looking at the correct location. My folder keep disappearing. I was wondering if it could be fixed somehow, or if it's a normal matter? Im wondering if my game will be saving my process now at all. The weird part is that the game is somewhere in the middle of my game-play. It wasnt completly erased.

After looking at a different forum, I found my Saves folder. Im not too sure what to do now. Delete something? or change something?
