Hello and welcome to the forum,

I'm guessing you downloaded it from a different source than Games4theworld (see the underlined part in my quote). If so, please keep in mind that we cannot give support on items that were released from other groups/people.

I suggest you re-download "The Sims 1 Complete Collection" from G4TW here:
https://games4theworld.org/downloads.html

Use WinRAR to open the .RAR download and extract all contents into an empty folder. When done, exit WinRAR and navigate to the folder where you extracted. Read up on the Installation guide.txt for instructions.

After the installation it may be a good idea to run the game in "compatibility mode". Right-click on the sims.exe crack file in the install location (or the desktop shortcut) and go to properties. Under "compatibility", select "run in compatibility mode -> Windows 7".

If your operating system is Windows 8 or 10, then this here might be useful too:

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off. In the next window, unfold the "Legacy components"-folder, and MARK the box "Direct Play". Click on OK after that.

Good luck for now !
