Several Problems Installing the Game
So I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times at this point, and there are several problems that I am experiencing. I will link in screenshots.
When only the Sims4 is installed without the ultimate fix or the expansion.

This is probably related to the fact that I have uninstalled and am reinstalling for like the third time.
This is the message I get when I am extracting the Sims4 Ultimate Fix. I can't seem to fix this in any way and I do have administrator.

Once I have the expansion applied (not the ultimate fix but just the expansion), clicking on the Sims icon does nothing. Nothing opens.
After following the full Ultimate Fix instructions, when I try to open two things happen. First, Origin opens, and secondly, the game tries to open but then gives the Unable to Start error message. This happens even when I move the entire game file as instructed. I try closing origin but it reopens every time and I get the same error message.
My anti virus stays completely disabled during the entire process.
Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm sorry if there is some obvious fix here but I have read through all the instructions and other posts in the forum.

Re: Several Problems Installing the Game
You actually have a simple problem.
You are obviously missing a piece of the .rar file which if you can't open, you can't install, ergo you can't play.
You are missing it due to a bad download or your anti-virus is not really off and is deleting parts of it.

I have tried redownloading the torrent file but I still get the same exact error message while extracting the files. Any idea how to fix it and get the missing file from the .rar?

Re: Several Problems Installing the Game
Does anyone on here use Wineskin to play the Sims 4? I downloaded G4TW's Sims 4 and I'm trying to install it and it won't work. I'm doing all of the steps correctly. If anyone does and has any advice or how-to that would be great.
Thanks!

It is imperative that you add the folder you are downloading the torrent file to, to your anti-virus exception list. A LOT of people don't want to deal with doing that or think it will be difficult to do etc., but it is a must. If you are using the torrent links on this site then they are the correct ones and contain all the files you need. If you are getting an error message when trying to extract them, then it means they are incomplete. It stands to reason that the only thing that would cause this is that something is interfering or breaking them upon download and/or opening. Once you add your DOWNLOAD folder (and your game folders later) to the anti-virus exception list, then it should be good to go (this is why they repeat over and over in the Installation PDFs to do this).
