Step by step beginner help please!! Empty Step by step beginner help please!!

Okay, hello.  I downloaded The Sims 3- The Complete Collection. Along with the the Ultimate Fix and the manual patch.  I have no idea how to apply the patch and fix.  I don't know what that entails. The tutorial video was taken down so I have no clue how to go about it.  I don't know the basics.  Can someone please guide me through this?

Hello! Please read this thread and follow the instructions as well as the one in the .pdf found in the Ultimate fix. 

-> Installing Sims 3

Remember to double check the instructions and apply the fix correctly!  Very Happy

I dont know how to apply the patch.  What does it mean?  In what capacity?

@kaebee, please try the video below, it shows how I usually do it, step by step, you can even pause the video while you are doing some of the stuff that takes longer etc.

Oh, I dont have the Origin application.  Where do I get that?

It is ok, just take your time and watch the video calmly, pause whenever you feel like you need it etc. That's how I do when I am trying something new or that I don't understand much of Wink
