Kicked back to neighborhood selection

I know there was another post just like this that said SOLVED, but I'm having the same issue and I tried what worked for the other person and the issue keeps popping up.

I just installed the new Get Together crack, and basically, whenever I try to have my sim travel or if she gets a call from a friend asking to meet somewhere, the game will start loading the destination, but then kick me to the neighborhood selection screen. Then when I try to reselect the family, it won't stop kicking me back to the neighborhood selection. Or sometimes I'll get the plumbob loading screen, but it never loads. It just keeps spinning forever.
I've tried renaming my Sims 4 folder in Documents and that only temporarily gets the rid of the problem. After a few plays, it starts kicking me again. 

So anybody have any other suggestions that might help?
