Sims3Launcher has Stopped Working. [SOLVED] Empty Sims3Launcher has Stopped Working. [SOLVED]

Hi,

I know others have had this same issue, but just doing the normal Ultimate Fix does not fix this.  Suddenly my game won't launch.  I get the "Sims3Launcher has stopped working..." box.  It was working earlier today and then suddenly stopped without any changes made by me. 

Help?

Hello,

A long time ago, I wrote this here on the forum:

But I don't know if this is still working today. I myself don't use the launcher for anything, besides installing neighborhoods/worlds. Most of my Sims 3 store content is in the .package file format (I torrented a nice from somewhere, about a year and a half ago). So I don't need the launcher. Good luck though !

I'm having the same exact problem. It worked yesterday running as a administrator, no crashes but now it's back to not working. I've tried Carlos' link and the Ultimate Fix. Now I'm back to square one. I think there's something missing in the files and I dont know where to go from there.

Helllo I had exact problem! I used Norton to block any internet connection to Sims 3 after patching 1.67, then it worked!
