Custom Content/Mods issue. [SOLVED]
Hello!
So I've had the Sims 4 since it came out, and I never had problems with the custom content that I downloaded from the internet, I had 800+ mods and they worked fine.
Recently I deleted all my custom content (mainly CAS custom content) and started all over again. I have 262 mods now and they're all from trusted custom content creators, I opened my Sims 4 and the "Mods" thing shows up and I can read every mod that I have, however, when I go to CAS and I try to find the things that I downloaded they don't show up, only like 20 of them do and the rest don't. I've read other posts about this and everyone said that the solution was to either install them correctly (the .package files inside the Mods folder) or modify the resource.cfg file so it could allow more folders and the game could read them correctly, I've tried both of those things and nothing seems to work, I uninstalled the game, reinstalled it and its the same, I've tried every mod and only 20+ seem to work and I just don't know what to do. I'm sorry if this is a little long but I wanted to explain as much as I can.
I really appreciate if someone can help me.

Hello and welcome to the forum @msxlk,
Some of the mods may just not be compatible for your game patch version. If you made sure that you put the files into the correct location, and your Resource.cfg file is set up correctly, there isn't much else you can do.
Also keep in mind that many - especially clothing - item mods are basically re-colorings of existing EA items. So you will need to click on the thumbnail picture of such an existing EA item, click on the color-selection and see if you can find the new color mod/pattern.
If you still think that items should be there, exit the game and try deleting the (relevant) cache files for the game. Navigate to C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Now do the following.
1) Delete the file localthumbcache.package
2) Navigate inside the subfolder cachestr, and delete the contents inside it. Don't delete the actual cachestr-folder though !
3) Navigate inside the folder cache, and delete all the contents inside it. But again, don't delete the actual cache-folder !
Now try the game again. See if you notice any changes and feel free to post back.
