Save Data Missing. [SOLVED]

Hello,
I don't know if I'm posting this correctly, and I didn't see anything on this topic, so I hope this is alright. The issue is that my sim data just disappeared. It was working fine since I downloaded the base game and both Get to Work and Get Together four days ago. But today when I opened the game, it acted as if I just downloaded it and retold me everything added to the game, and how to create a household. Is there anything I can do, or should I just redo everything? Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Dawnie,
Navigate to the following location: C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\. What folders do you see there ? Could you maybe even show us a screenshot of that location, on your system ?

Thank you, and I apologize for the late response,
At this point i've already started a new game, sorry if that messes up things, but the folders are Sims 3 and Sims 4. Here's a screenshot of it too.

It's OK. Do you recall if that folder "The Sims 4" was already there, before you started a new game ?
Either way, if it's gone for some reason, then I guess there isn't much else you can do.
For the future, try backing up that folder "The Sims 4", to a safe location, like a USB flashdrive or external hard-drive. Do it regularly, depending on how often you play The Sims 4.

It's always been there since I downloaded the game if I remember correctly. But I will do that then, just in case it happens again. Thank you for responding at the very least.

Sorry again that I couldn't help more in this instance, but feel free to get in touch with us again anytime, if you need support with another issue. A number of other users have reported similar issues, and we yet need to figure out if this is a bug related to the actual game, or if it is caused by other factors. Anyhow, I hope you'll have fun nonetheless.
