Sims 4 Mods will not show up. [SOLVED]
I've had the same issue and the game warns me that "mods were removed because current account does not own them", or something really similar to that. I'm not logged in Origin and game is running offline. Is there a solution to that?

Hello and welcome to the forum @Jiki-Seihin,
I split your post from the other thread; please always make sure to open your own topic, instead of posting under someone else's thread.
Can you tell me the exact wording of the error ? Because what you quoted isn't the same as the one I have in mind right now. Also, if you pirated your games, then your game patch version will be - as of now - 1.13.104.1010. Please ensure that all your mods are compatible with that particular game version. Check back on the sites where you downloaded these mods from, and maybe even try and get in touch with the mod creator(s) if you're still in doubt. Good luck !

Actually, I managed to fix it without re-downloading or waiting for updates on the content, which is kinda lame because, why would hair, makeup and clothes need update since body mechanics are still the same.
So I went to check my recource.cfg file, and what do you know.
It was updated with new patchs, just had to change the new one:
Priority 500
PackedFile *.package
PackedFile */*.package
PackedFile */*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*/*/*.package
For the cracking one:
Priority 500
PackedFile *.package
PackedFile */*.package
Everything worked fine, hope it helps whoever still has this issue.
Thanks.

OK, you're speaking about hair/clothes and such, while I actually thought about script mods, but OK. In general, "mods" are items that modify in-game mechanics. While "normal custom content" are items like hair, clothing and things like that. But I guess that the term "mods" is used interchangeably these days, which is also fine.
Also, I don't know how much body mechanics were changed. Maybe this error can happen if one is using outdated CAS items too.
However, the thing you are describing though with the Resource.cfg has nothing to do with "Old" or "New". It basically refers to different folder and subfolder structures, inside "Mods". Maybe the items didn't show up for you initially because you had them inside too many layers of subfolders.
Anyhow, good to hear you managed to sort it out. Feel free to get back in touch with us again, anytime. Problem solved, topic closed.
