The Sims Medieval - Pirates and Nobles Empty The Sims Medieval - Pirates and Nobles

Post by Guest Tue 18 Oct 2011, 00:06

When I go to install Pirates and Nobles, this is what I get:

Setup has detected that The Sims Medieval is corrupt or not properly installed. Setup is unable to continue.

Please Help, maybe I am doing something wrong, I feel I am following the directions?

Thanks
Melissa

Hello,

Did you install The Sims Medieval first? (The base game)

Hello,

Depends. How did you buy it? On a DVD or via Origin/Steam or something?

Hello,

Kind of does, since the installation wizard can't detect the The Sims: Medieval installed on your system, because - since it's installed via Origin - it doesn't show up in the computer's program list and therefore the wizard can't detect it.
The only workaround I have for now, is that you uninstall the Origin version and install the ® Games4theworld version of the base game. (Just use your legit code for installation and downloading stuff)
