Sims MEDIEVAL/PIRATES AND NOBLES Empty Sims MEDIEVAL/PIRATES AND NOBLES

So i downloaded and installed sims medieval. that was working great. Then i downloaded pirates and nobles, and when i tried to launch it. Windows popped up an error message saying :: Launcher has stopped working. Now the problem also spread to the original base game of sims medieval. I installed it correctly, following the instructions to the letter. I uninstalled pirates and nobles, but sims medieval is still not launching, and has the same error message.
