Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about that, but the "hotfix" mainly takes care of the Llama-symbols in the Newcrest neighborhood and a few other in-game problems. It does not "break" anything in the Sims 4 game. As for your issue, could you be more specific - why exactly can't you play a household ? In my experience, problems are usually caused by interfering anti-virus software as well as outdated/incompatible mods.

Yes, that one is indeed caused by interfering anti-virus issues. Smile

What is your anti-virus program and what is the Windows version that you are running right now ? Do you know how to add exclusions in your anti-virus program, and also in Windows Defender ?

But depending on the programs that you use, you may need to do some additional research on your own. Once you re-configured your exclusions, please re-apply the "Get together" files and then also the hotfix. Now try the game again. Good luck, and feel free to keep us posted !
