Sims 3 graphic issue Empty Sims 3 graphic issue

I downloaded Sims 3 from the G4W and now after some time playing, I get graphic issues. First the Sims's face would get distorted, then the houses and lots change color completely. Is there any way to fix that? I'm on a Mac.

The first thing you might want to check is your graphics drivers.

Thank you. But how would I do that, I recently got the Mac and I'm used to Windows.

Hello,


Please note that unfortunately we are unable to provide further Mac support, as there is currently nobody on the team who has (sufficient) Mac knowledge on here.

From what we've seen in the past though, The Sims 3 runs horribly on Mac OS, hence your best bet would probably be to install a Windows OS partition on your Mac computer (Bootcamp) and run TS3 from there.

Should you end up installing Bootcamp and running/installing The Sims 3 on there, you can see this post here on how to open dxdiag and navigate to the "Display"-tab there.

On the right where it says "drivers", look at the date. If it's too old, google for your graphics card (driver) and download the latest available driver there, which will typically be in the .exe file format.
