Sims 3: Unable to start game. No supported graphics detected...

i downloaded, installed the Sims 3 and followed all the instructions. but when i'm going to launch it, the message says "UNABLE TO START GAME. DEVICE 0 CANNOT RUN THIS TITLE. NO SUPPORTED VIDEO GRAPHICS DETECTED. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SYSTEM HARDWARE." please help me with this matter. i cant seem to understand the problem

what else am i going to do? wait. it's just the sims 3 or the base game alone. will it be able to work when i add some expansions like town life stuff?
