Game Crash - Build Mode Empty Game Crash - Build Mode

Hi


For some time I have had an issue where my game would freeze; no response sound disappears
I deleted Sims 4 and have recently reinstalled


Now it does the same but only on Build Mode with or without CC (i checked)
I can be making sims for hours and play for hours but few minutes into build mode it crashes


I have all your sims 4 games and moved it to Program Files (x86)
I have tried before installing any CC, after and removing it plus creating new game with no CC


I am at a loss, does not happen for other games

The first thing in those cases is to check out this thread here, if you haven't done so yet:

From your description though, the issue may not be CC-related at all, so you can skip #1 of the post that I linked to. Smile

Hello,

I tried the options even reducing graphic settings, despite having nvidia gtx 960 4gb and amd fx 9590 4.7ghz

i lasted a lot longer playing but it did freeze again.

Any ideas? im on 64x system

You can try seeing if "laptop mode" is enabled in your game options. If yes, unmark the box. Also, I think I mentioned it already in the guide I linked before, but make sure you activate Vertical synchronization in the options. There is a box for that, which needs to be marked.

Other than that I'm unsure, my current computer is a lot weaker than yours, but I never had any issues running the game. It crashed maybe once or twice since I first played it in late 2014.

Hello

Thank you for your reply, someone suggested it could be my GPU under framer ate issues it crashes however I don't know what it really means. Oddly my PC should run sims on at least medium settings but is somehow failing low settings as well
