Cannot create the Mystery Invention on the inventing workbench

Good day!

I would like to ask for help with my little problem, I have a Sim which has a level 10 on inventing skill and has gone through what they said a quest chain to unlock the Mystery Invention and obtain a "blueprint" so your sim can create a SimBot as long as you have 1 Palladium, 10 Life Fruits, 1 Heart-Cut Shaped Pink Diamond, and 100 Scraps. Well the problem starts when i was given the task titled "master Invention" which tasked me to create the mystery invention on the workbench, since i have the Life Core a Reward from getting the materials i assumed i wont need the others, and just to make sure i collected them again(with the help of buydebug" since i dont have gardening skill yet). So as i went to the workbench It appears there is no option for the mystery invention i even checked with the "Make.." button and nothing I tried Invent and switched it to Invent Indefinitely after a couple of game play hours I have managed to invent every widget, every toy, and every big invention(minus the simbot) and the invent option is blacked out(unclickable).

I consulted the internet to find out maybe i missed something, but to no avail. Many people have the same problems as mine and most of them are in a town of Bridgeport which they say is bugged and prevented the making of the Mystery Invention. Since those forums i visited are sims3 forums and i know most of them have legit copies of sims, so i tried here since I got my copy from you guys.

P.S: Just to make sure, My EPs are (WA,LN,Seasons,Pets,Ambitions,generations,University Life
SPs: Almost everything except Sweet Treats and Movie Stuff
I have CCs
Mod: Just the Overwatch
World: Setra (Late Night Apartments) I tip my fedora.

Hello again and sorry for the late reply,

I'm not sure if I really created that mystery invention myself at some point, but if you think it's caused by a particular neighborhood, then try moving your sims to a different town and try re-creating the invention there.

I also want to add, that the ONLY difference between a (disc-based) legit version of The Sims 3 and our games is that you don't need an optical disc to run our games. This is a very common misbelief, but nothing whatsoever has been altered in our games. They work just in the same way as legit ones. Smile

Okey i have found the problem and fixed it(kinda) so i followed your advice moved to a different neighborhood and it worked. Since it is a world/neighborhood glitch, i dug deeper on the sims 3 forums and eventually found that what is really causing the glitch is the Late Night EP which for some reason glitches the Ambitions Inventing Workbench and also provided a link on MTS about its fix called "BridgeportWorkbenchFix" which fixed the problem from any late night neigborhoods that i have(setra & Bridgeport).
