Glitch in Create-A-Sim..PLEASE READ (WITH PHOTO). [SOLVED]
This is for the sims 4 installations (that I've done already),
I followed all the instructions and I still get an error "Unable to start: The contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of the Sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via Origin to play.
[d6f91ffb]
I used the Ultimate fix, didn't work. Then I re-installed everything and just applied the Hotfix, didn't work. I do NOT have any ant-virus running not even Windows Defender.
Please help!!! :$ :$ :$

No doubt the same question has been asked elsewhere on this forum.
Simple answer:
In My Documents - Electronic Arts - The Sims 4 open the file GameVersion (f.e. with Notepad)
Change into 1.13.104.1010 and save the file.
Now try and play the game.

OMG!! I read that step before and was looking in the wrong Documents folder!
Thank you for the response!! I feel so stupid
//EDIT
Okay, now I have another issue, in create a sim there are red question marks on all the sims...
//EDIT
When I enter create a sim, there are red "question marks" all over the sims' body. So, I cannot see the sim or any item of clothing AT ALL. Just the "RED ????" :$
covering the sim. Sad I really hope someone can help me with this issue.

Hello @jamiiielo,
Did you use WinRAR for extracting the downloads ? P.S. I also merged all your posts into one single thread, for better visibility.

Glitch in Create-A-Sim..PLEASE READ (WITH PHOTO)
I tried to explain this yesterday, (someone was kind enough to try to give me a solution, but unfortunately, it didn't work) but still have not been able to figure out how to resolve this issue. Here it is;
I have no problem getting the game to start, it runs smoothly, but EVERY TIME I try to "create a sim", or EVEN "Plan Outfit", the Sim completely turns white and red. You cannot see any clothing on their body or their body in general. Sort of like red and white paint all over them. That is the problem I'm experiencing. I would greatly appreciate some much needed help. I've already tried going into "My Documents" then "Electronic Arts" then removed the "Sims 4" and placed it onto my "Desktop". Started the game, and the issue was still occurring. I, also, changed the GameVersion to, 1.13.104.1010, I don't know if that is the correct Version to use, but those are the instructions that someone gave me. I do NOT have Windows Defender or an anti-virus running.
Hopefully I can get some help on this issue ASAP. I am excited to play the game, but hate this incessant issue.

//EDIT
For some reason, the clothes are NOW visible, but they weren't yesterday. Either way, this is what's going on. I hope you can understand my frustration.

I get your frustration, but first please try keeping all your discussions in just one thread (instead of opening multiple topics on the same issue because the initial suggestions didn't help you). It makes it easier for all of us to follow these topics, and I merged again your posts.
So you did extract ALL Sims 4 game-downloads with WinRAR ?
Now navigate to Documents\Electronic Arts and change the folder name of the folder "The Sims 4". Just change the folder name, and try the game again.
Also, did you keep the install order as follows ?
1) TS4 Base game
2) Get to Work
3) Get together
4) Hotfix (see this)

I do apologize for all the scattered posts. To be honest, this is my first issue I couldn't understand nor resolve on my own. So I was really confused. But I'm going to try your suggestions, I'll get back to you and let you know if it worked!

No problem. In my experience, this texture-issue is often due to another program being used for extraction than WinRAR. If the problem persists after that I'm unsure. You could attempt to uninstall your Sims 4 game - it's enough to delete the folder "The Sims 4", from C:\Program files (x86).
And then re-extract all Sims 4 downloads again with WinRAR. Make sure to use one empty folder per game component. So extract the base game contents into one folder. Then, extract the contents of "Get together" in another folder". And so forth.
Finally try the game again.

Re: Glitch in Create-A-Sim..PLEASE READ (WITH PHOTO). [SOLVED]
I tried your suggestions, unfortunately, it's still doing exactly the same. So I guess I'll try uninstalling everything and trying again. Would you mind giving me the step-by-step instructions, so I don't miss a step?
Also, I am using WinRaR..so it couldn't be a texture detail, right? Another thing you should probably know, before downloading The Sims 4 from Games4theworld, I downloaded the 2 day trial from Origin a few days before yesterday. I deleted the files from the Origin version, and uninstalled. Should I check in another file/ folder to make sure there are no lingering Origin?

So I'm extracting the files from WinRaR and this pops up for Get To Work...Is this supposed to happen?

Assuming the download of "Get to Work" finished 100% in your torrent client, do you still have the torrent running as "seeding" there ? if yes, right-click on the torrent (in the torrent client) and choose STOP. Then right-click again and choose "force re-check". This can take a while to complete now, but when it's done, try re-extracting again into a fresh folder.

I've been using FrostWire. Do you think Utorrent is better?
//EDIT
I'm only asking because it doesn't give me the option to "re-check"...

Yes, try using another torrent client (such as uTorrent), and re-download the game.

Good to hear. From now on you might want to prefer using uTorrent, though. Feel free to get back in touch with us again anytime if you need more support or just want to chat. Have fun with the game, until then !
Problem solved, topic closed.
