The Sims 4 lags.Any help?

I install the base game,and it lags.I apply the update and it lags.Even without update it lags,help?

Hello,
Does your computer fulfill the system requirements necessary for the game ? Read up here. If it does, have you made sure to download and install all available Windows and graphics card updates too ?
A few other things you can do in-game:
Make sure to tick the box named "VerticalSync", which is marked with an arrow above. Also, try unmarking "laptop mode" at the bottom. As for the other settings, try lowering them to see if it makes any difference.
