Unable to Install Get together and Mod Contents

Hi guys!
So I've upgraded to an actual gaming computer and I finally took the plunge and installed The Sims 4. I downloaded it from G4TW Downloads page with both expansion packs Get to Work and Get Together. I downloaded CC packages (Hair Clothing etc) I went through the forum looking for topics offering help installing CC packages because I was not able to find any of it in CAS. I found the "How to" topic and followed all of the instructions and still nothing helps. I decided to add the Ultimate fix but then realized I had only installed the Get to work pack and I needed the Get together before installing the Ultimate fix. So I go to install it. I transferred all of the files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and ran the game and got an error message asking me to log in to origin.
I'm assuming that somehow it **** the crack? I have spent two days trying to get this **** to work and I'm about to just flip my table and go back to deal with the issues I have with the sims 3. Could uninstalling everything and reinstalling help?

UPDATE: I said screw it and tried re-installing the base game again and got the same error message:

Hello,
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and in that folder, delete the file GameVersion.txt. Then try the game again. Good luck!

Actually (and unfortunately), getting The Sims 4 to work properly is a lot trickier than that, and also compared to earlier Sims-games. For a start, it is always important to make sure your anti-virus software and Windows Defender don't interfere with the pirated game, and experience shows this is a common source of problems. This guide can serve as an introduction to the subject matter.
Afterwards you should keep the install order of the items as follows:
1) TS4 Base game
2) Get to Work
3) Get together
4) "Hotfix" (download link is here)
The Ultimate fix is not necessary this time. And finally, do what @simmer_tony suggested before.
This "GameVersion.txt"-file needs to be deleted indeed.But you will want to take your time and do the thing with the anti-virus exclusions properly. Once you did it correctly, you normally should not have to do it again on that computer (!), unless you e.g. install different security software or you re-install Windows.
