ehhh sims 3 complete .rar

i downloaded the sims 3 complete from your site. its 27 gigs but now that its downloaded i cant open it? it keeps saying windows cant read this file type. its in .rar form and i dont know what to do. ive downloaded many things in the past including the sims 2 complete and it worked just fine runs and everything. not sure what i did wrong here but could really use some help.

To open RAR files, you need an extracting program like WinRAR. If you don't have it yet, you can download it from here:
https://www.games4theworld.org/downloads.html

Also make sure that the torrent is completely downloaded before attempting to open it, otherwise it will not open and may get corrupted. Check that it's at 100% and either 'Seeding', 'Complete', or something similar in the program that you used to downloaded the torrent

i downloaded winrar and i clicked on the sims3setup.exe and all it did was move it to a different folder. im not sure if im doing this right or not. when i did sims 2 i had to use deamon tools. do i need to use that again?

Hi again!

You actually need to extract the RAR first. Right click the RAR, and select the option that says "Extract to The Sims 3 - Complete Collection". It will create a folder with that name wherever you had the RAR. Now, you can open the folder and start installing the games following the guide that should be inside.
I don't think that the Complete Collection uses any ISOs for installation, so DAEMON tools may be not needed. Even if it is, it should only be for the base game. Please, follow the guide that should be inside the folder after the extraction and let us know how it goes.

Hello, and welcome to the forum, Very Happy

sorry to hear about your problems.
To solve it you need to download Ultimate Fix. When you download it, right-click on file and select Extract Here. You'll see folder named #Crack. Go inside the folder. You'll see two file, copy them to installation directory of The Sims 3 (example: C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin). Copy those two files to installation directory of The Sims 3. Chose to replace them.

I've run into a problem with this install as well. Not the disc error popping up. But after the install according to the installation guides in the download, I can't get my sims to load. It keeps saying there is an error loading the launcher, even when I open the game sans launcher.

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! i am officially up and running my only other question is about the "shop" is there any download to unlock all of the items and clothes you have to buy in game?
