No fridge? [SOLVED]

Hello!

I just installed the new ultimate fix and my sims can't cook at all! It says that there's no fridge available? I looked it up on Google and it says to repair the game using Origin but I'm not sure I can do this since my game is not legit at all.

Thank you for the update though, I'm so excited about the new stuff!

there are many users having same problem as you. Try reading this post. (There's no need to answer the questions as stated in post.)
Repair game in Origin is same as reinstalling game. If post doesn't help you we will still try troubleshooting and if anything doesn't help you could try reinstalling game.

Does that mean I can use the repair option in Origin? I already tried the other options mentioned in the post you linked me to. I'd really like avoiding redownloading and reinstalling everything, it's so time consuming... Thank you for your answer though!

Edit: I was way too excited to play with the new content, I reinstalled everything and its works fine now!

Sorry for the late reply @Lou-Ann,

I'd actually have suggested something along the lines of cache deleting, restarting the game without saving, or maybe also deleting/selling the fridge and then purchasing a new one.
