Re: Sims 3 graphics.
Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
Well, it certainly doesn't have anything to do with whether or not you are running a legit game. Check your in-game settings, and your overall graphics settings.

Re: Sims 3 graphics.
Ok, maybe you need drivers or tweak your graphics controlpanel settings.
It's impossible that your disappointing graphics are caused by the game being cracked. It's the exact same game.

Re: Sims 3 graphics.
Ok, your settings are mostly on high.
What about the resolution ? Is that set to the highest possible for your graphics card ?
As @Edin ElDi said, the games, legal or pirated are exactly the same.

Re: Sims 3 graphics.
It depends on the type of card.
Mine are AMD and I can tweak several settings in Catalyst Control Center. Things like performance vs. graphic quality etc.

Re: Sims 3 graphics.
To my knowledge there is no Intel card capable of playing Sims-3 at high settings.
Maybe you have switchable graphics.(= another graphic card besides Intel)

Does your computer (a laptop, I assume ?) also have a secondary graphics card besides that Intel-chip ?
I've seen cases where people could run The Sims 3 for a while with the integrated graphics chip, but over time, the graphics quality started deteriorating. Maybe due to excessive wear on these graphics chips ?
Keep in mind that laptops in general (and these integrated graphics chip in particular) are not made for the purpose of gaming. They are mostly intended for office purposes, watching (YouTube) videos, listening to music, surfing the web, etc.
Also note that the main difference between legit Sims 3 games and cracked ones, is that in the cracked games you don't need a CD or Origin to start the game. Beyond that, cracked games are just as functional as legit ones, excpet that you can't use "Simport" there...but I'm not sure how popular that feature is anyhow.

Re: Sims 3 graphics.
It was very popular when Showtime was first released, not sure about now.
You could still use Simport if you only have 1 legit game. I've used it with just Fast Lane Stuff.
