Is there a way to uninstall the latest update?

I have purchased all the games except for Get Together.... is there a way to uninstall the latest update so I can play Get Together from here?

To add - I screwed up and installed it without realizing the latest update wasnt available... so now I can't play the game at all.... and I just realized the game in origin was also installed so I am assuming the family I have been playing with for months is now gone....

sorry to hear about your problems.
Here on G4TW you can find all addons from The Sims 4 except newest Backyard Stuff, so you can download it from here or just purchase Get Together. May I ask you what The Sims 4 addons you own?


And you can't mix legal and pirated The Sims 4. Either play legal The Sims 4 or play pirated.

When you go to Origin - My Games and rightclick on the image of The Sims 4 you can update or repair your game.
This means that you can no longer access your pirated expansions/Game Packs/Accessories.
You won't loose your families.

When you have no additional legal games published after Get Together (Movienight, Romantic Garden, Kidsroom, Dine Out, Backyard) you can still add the pirated expansions Get Together and Ultimate Fix.
Mind you, if you own any or all of the above mentioned games, your original games will be overwritten with prated copies and Backyard is as yet not available in pirated form. So you will loose Backyard.
From then on of course you can no longer play via Origin.

Try de-activating automatic Origin updates first, see this.

Not 100% sure if this still is an issue today, but it was back then. Then you download Games4theworld's "Get together" and "Ultimate fix" and copy/paste them over your The Sims 4 install folder. See if and how that works out for you.

If there are problems, you could indeed either get rid of your Origin Sims 4 (uninstall it), or you indeed repair your legal game through Origin, and install all Games4theworld items, in a separate folder location.
