Can't save changed language, HELP!! [SOLVED]

Helloo,

I really need some help in changing the language, i tried to do what's on here https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t23293-how-to-change-the-in-game-display-language-in-the-sims-4-updated-on-22-07-2016?highlight=change+language but i get a message that i'm not allowed to save it. i also tried regedit but that also didn't work.

please i need some help, what am i doing wrong?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Try using the option "save as...". and then save the file under your desktop for now. After which you copy/paste the file from the desktop, into your Game\Bin folder of The Sims 4. Good luck for now !

No problem at all.   I suspect this is another example Windows' "file permission system" interfering with things. I'm also going to slightly edit the guide about changing the display language (I only want to add a small download with text files for all available languages, in cases people mistype or misapply the file).
