The Sims 4 - Empty Bubbles

I've been playing G4TW's Sims 4 for a while now (thanks by the way  )
I ignored it for a while but now it's really become a burden to me: when I play the Sims 4, I can see the writing in the bubbles for everything except for Get Together and there on. The bubble-writing for the base game and Get to Work works just fine. 

Examples where I can't see the writing: Monster under the bed = the bubbles are empty ; Locking the door and all that stuff ; Clubs ; Creating a retail shop or anything of that sort ; Dancing skill (I can only see the shoe) ; The bed (can't see "claim bed") ect.

It would be really awesome if someone had an idea on what's going on,
