The Sims 3 problem please help.

Hi. I install sims 3 it works fine but after installing Pets expensive pack MY World Map is Grey/white cant see anything. When i click on house or zoom in so it is fine. I did reinstall and other fixes but it didnt work. i also did change compatibility and delte documents but dint solve. Sad

Please Help soon as possible Sad

And when i open sims 3 firstly 2 messeges comes that First saying; "---WARNING: Unable to Identify Hardware.
The game is unable to identify your hardware. Please contact customer
support. You may need to adjust your graphics settings manually for
optional quality and performance.---"

Second saying; "---WARNING: unrecognized video card.
Your card was not found in our database. your graphics setting have been set as high as possible, but you may wish to reduce them if you are experiencing poor
performance.

And in ducuments sims 3 folder the device config is emty just this is in device config : === Options ===

I have already installed these expansive packs:Island paradise :Seasons:University life and it was working fine but today i install Late night from game4theworld (FULL) and apply the cracks but when i click on play from luancher it says Unable to start service intializition failed (0x024e424f).

And i went to sims 3 folder and click frm ts3w so the game open but it was island paradise Please Help.

Late night is installed as it is in control pnel also

Could I ask you stick to this topic here only for all your Sims 3 issues, instead of posting in multiple places, please ? Smile

It only gets confusing for all, if posts are in different places.

As for the graphics card issue, I'm not sure if I really have time for TeamViewer this weekend, but we'll see. About the other problems, please do steps #2, #4 and #5 from the guide on this page here. If you do it properly, you shouldn't have any blank menus anymore. Finally, if you are getting lags in Isla Paradiso, try lowering your graphics settings.

i want to play island paradise! And i have already low my graphics and i have a great spec! Navida 420 2 GB video card and 5GB RAM

About the last topic...I used NVIDIA as an example, because my own graphics card is from NVIDIA. If you have a card from a different brand, you ill need to do research on your own too.

As for your original problem: If you've tried everything The_gh0stm4n has referenced to, the one thing left for you to try is to either play a custom made island world, or make one yourself. That would rule out any routing problems.
Keep in mind that TS3 is a game that is buggy at best, no matter how good your specs are, you can always run into unexpected lag or game crashes, unfortunately.

Go to device manager on your computer
open display adapters
when you see more than 1 you have switchable graphics.
Use the AMD or Nvidia card.

Or Rightclick on the shortcut for your simsgame and select Graphic Prosessor and select the AMD or Nvidia

At that point, there isn't really much else I can think of, sorry. One thing you could try is to simply play in other neighborhoods, or, try uninstalling expansions that you don't like, and see if it affects your performance.

Ok, first of all, please use the "edit" button on your last reply if you forgot to add anything, rather than putting it all in separate posts.

You may want to start with this, it's the original Island Paradise world but "fixed". That means several issues that cause lag have been repaired by the kind person that uploaded that file to that site.
Read the instructions carefully on how to get it to work. Do not skip any part of those instructions and take it slow.
Backup your savegames before you try at all. Better to be safe than sorry.

You can also have a look here for other worlds that have been adapted to suit your needs.

If none of that suits your needs, use Google to search for "Island Paradise custom world" or something along those lines.

I am also having an issue with The Sims 3.

I am running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (I HAVE had the games on here working before, not sure what is wrong now). I have a digital version of The Sims 3, but have been using your installs from The Sims 3 The Complete Collection. Sometimes, I get an code request for the base game, sometimes it just installs. I run the update for the game to continue installing the expansions. Then, I get to Generations, and it tells me that the base game is newer than the Generations and I have to be connected to the internet to update it. This updates it via Origins, and then I can' install any mods. I get my mods from Mod the Sims, and when I run their pack files, when used to run like regular set up files, now they start up Origins and the game launcher. I would really love to get back to playing with my sims, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
