Hello and welcome to the forum @BizP,

What kind of anti-virus software do you have? Last time I had that error, it was caused by my "avast"-software, despite having set all the exclusions correctly. In that case, I re-applied the No-Origin files, and it worked after that. Depending on how your particular anti-virus works, you may have to double-check the exclusions or at the very least temporarily turn off the anti-virus. To make matters worse, if you are on Windows 10 you also have to set exclusions for Windows Defender as well.

Have a look at the thread here for the latest available No-Origin files:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t23706-latest-available-no-origin-files-for-the-sims-4-version-1-20-60-1020

Good luck!

At that point it becomes difficult. Have you considered uninstalling your anti-virus and then re-booting the computer? After that, re-copy and re-paste the files from the link in my previous post.

Even if you do that, also remember you will need to add the install location of the game under the exclusions in "Windows Defender" as well, if you have Windows 10.

Try adding the entire C: drive to the "exclusions", and then you do this here again:

In Windows 10, see this:

0xc000007b error. [SOLVED] Clipbo13

"Exclusions".

0xc000007b error. [SOLVED] Clipbo14

Folders -> Exclude a folder -> C: drive.

Or do you have another Windows, than Windows 10?

The only idea I have is that there is something (else) on your computer that keeps deleting or destroying these game files. You should remember, re-installing Windows may not help because when you re-install, some default software will still stay on.

Do you have a program named "Lavasoft Web Companion" on that computer installed? If so, uninstall it please, and re-boot the computer. Then try again re-applying the files from before that I showed you. Smile

Cool! Very Happy  And I don't know yet when the new DLC will come out. Of course, we will keep you posted!

Since the problem seems solved, I'll close this now too. Feel free to open a new topic anytime again for more help. Have fun!
