Windows 10 won't let me unpack my .RAR file.

Every time I download a new expansion file for TS3 (because i own most of them). It shows my file as an internet explorer file so i have no way to even try to unpack it. HELP I'm so close to the complete game. I am also willing to try Team Viewer if it would be easier!

If you install the program "WinRAR", the .RAR files should be recognized automatically thereafter. And you can open them by double-clicking on them. If not, you could also right-click on the .RAR file, and look for an option named "open with -> WinRAR"; you should only have to do this once.

@The_gh0stm4n I have tried that too because thats how i would unzip them on Windows 7,  but even WinRAR downloads in that weird internet explorer format that I cant get anything out of. Anymore suggestions on how to get them to stop downloading like this?

I see. Did you install a bittorrent client, such as µTorrent? You need such a program, in order to download and use these torrents.   Google for µTorrent and install the program, it's available for free. Then you go back to the site I linked to before. You can use the "magnet link", which should open the torrent client directly. Or you use the .torrent file, downloaded from your browser: in that case you need to double-click on the .torrent file, after it's been downloads, to start the program.

I don't think it matters that much; but I would download the 5.21 version, still (because I believe it has the most "seeders"; i.e. people uploading the program in the torrent network). 

Is there another one you recommend besides utorrent? Because utorrent doesn't have a Windows 10

You can also use Free Download Manager (FDM) to download torrent files. If it wont download them correctly you may need to use a VPN to bypass any p2p blocks your ISP may have in place.
