The Sims 3 (0x024e424f) error when I start the game.

So, I installed All the The sims 3 games, except the Pets, and I followed all the instructions from this topic (https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly) But I'm getting the (0x024e424f) error whenever I start the game, I get the black screen before everything loads...
PS: I already re-installed the game three times. I always get the same error.

i have the same problem, i used ultimate fix.

I have installed all sims 3 expansions, except of Pets then i applied Ultimate Fix following this video instruction - click first problem - in sims 3 launcher there isnt 2 last expansions (pets and town life, pets ok, but the town life is installed) showed below the launcher window, i mean these 2 icons down. Then when i try to start game by the launcher it freezes and crashes, so i try to start without launcher by TS3.exe from Sims 3 directory and it crash after black screen with error - 0x024e424f. i going to crazy about it because my internet connection is low (2 mb/s) and i was waiting for these 40 gb 6 days Very Happy

If Town life stuff doesn't show up in the launcher, that's an indication that something went wrong with the crack, so could you post a screenshot of the folder you copied it to?

sure, crack is from newest the sims 3 fix here and i copied it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin like in video tutorial, screen is in attachments

Yep, i downloaded it yesterday, and inside there is pdf file with 18.10.2011 date.

Hello,
Have you tried this to solve the crashing problem?
Its weird though that Town Life stuff doesn't show up in the launcher. Are you sure its the crack you copied and not the original file? All of the original files for the expansions are in the corresponding folder, but the crack is located in a folder named #crack.

Ok, i set DEP, and now in launcher there are all expansions (except of Pets, because i dont have it yet), but - nothing had changed with game, still same problem with (0x024e424f) error.

Nope, fresh installations only.

Sims base version is 1.26 is it ok?

Could someone post all actual versions of expansions? I think there is a problem.

Wait, i started it without launcher but by the TS3W.exe and it works fine now. We will see is there any problem in game (with expansions or something) it is loading right now.
