Learned Songs Glitch. [SOLVED]

Okay, So my sims in the sims 3 have a band, or created one or whatever. The game notified me saying that I should learn more music, and that I can buy it from the book store. Okay, all good so far. But once I click on learn "Song Name" There is no sound coming from the instrument! After I got the animation for the song being finished I went to the preform option and clicked on the song I learned. There was a playing animation for about 3 seconds, with no sound. then they just quit playing... Help?

Every Single One from the Store. And on every instrument as far as I can tell. The base songs work fine though. Gonna be gone for about 8 hours, so sorry if I don't reply. 4am here

My sims are both level 8 of their instruments.

Edit:
Might help if I say, I could hear the Bassist learn her songs, but afterwards I couldn't hear her preform them.

Edit 2:
My game started working correctly. I think the issue is that I left my game on for 12 hours. whoops. to much memory consumption?
