Issue with Sims 3 World Adventures .[SOLVED]

Ok, I downloaded the Sims 3 Pets a while back, have been playing it with no problem, etc.
Decided to add a few more expansion packs.
Went to download World Adventures via the installation guide but couldn't even FIND "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sims\The Sims 3"
It doesn't exist (???)
so I went on here, found the ultimate fix and went about my business.
Updated my game via manual update, as the regular update didn't work, Got the cracks done (Ok, Yes, I did the Sims 3, Sims 3 pets and the crack .rar files in before I realized that I was replacing them as I went.. and ended with the crack .rar files)
Then went to install my expansion pack and all I got was "The setup has detected that the regional install code for The Sims 3 is different than what the expansion requires.
This product requires all The Sims 3 to have the same regional code in order to be installed"

I have no idea what to do next. I've done all I could find to fix this..and nada. Same error.
Is there something I'm missing?
If it helps, my Sims 3 game is the actual disk. Sims 3 pets is from here. No other expansions have been installed but I'm planning on adding World Adventures, Outdoor Living, Ambitions and Late Night..
World Adventures was at the top of my list for expansions so I'm so bummed it isn't working. Help!

To add, I did find it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims > The Sims 3

But there's no SKU anywhere.. So still at a loss..

The error you get is indeed caused by the wrong SKU code.
Be 100% sure you're looking in exactly this folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims > The Sims 3

And not something with "Electronic Arts" or something else in it, as you'd think. Look very carefully to the path above.

I am looking in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims > The Sims 3
all that is there is a folder called ergc. Clicking on that shows a file called Default. Type REG_SZ.

I DID open Electronic Arts to double check (you never know!) but as you can see, nothing is in either folder in terms of the SKU.

Got everything fixed Thanks! Even played for..uhm.. all day yesterday?
Travel time on the game got slow (20 mins to travel?) but I think that might have been my computer.
