Just a sims 4 question.

I wasn't sure where to post this but i was wondering would it ever be possible to just get at least the 1.35 update without cats and dogs because i only have a laptop and it is a couple years old it played all the other expansions fine (even with all my cc) but it can't handle cats and dogs so i am fine not having pets but it would be kind of nice to have a semi updated version i realize it may be a lot of work anyway thanks for at least reading this

OK, I see what you mean(t). That's actually not what I had in mind originally. The "Update-Only Ultimate Fix" is only for people who want to play the base game, and no DLC. I suppose you could install the Cats & Dogs torrent, and then delete the DLC, to just get the 1.36 update:

The question now though is whether it will be worth the effort/hassle for you. If you have a strong enough computer and enough harddrive space, I would suggest you keep the Cats & Dogs DLC.

i tried the cats and dogs dlc my laptop couldn't handle it i have no problem uninstalling the other expansions and dlc if need be and just installing them after the update it might work lol

Have a look at the guide I posted in my previous message.   You can actually install the "cats and dogs" torrent, and with some tinkering of the files remove the actual DLC from your installation (while keeping the other DLC and the 1.36 patch). Otherwise, with TS4 it's not possible anymore to pick and choose your DLC. You must install everything that is available, and then tinker with the files in order to remove unwanted DLC.
