Everytime i'm playing it closes out after awhile..
I recently installed the new update with no problems. But now every time I play it works for a while and then all the sudden says the sims 4 has stopped working and closes. This happened three different times now after playing for a while. Everything else seems to work fine and I have all the new stuff added in the game.

Hello @Toxicxxlove again,
Make sure to check out the thread here for possible crash-solutions here.

May I ask for how long you are able to play the game so far, before it crashes? Are these intervals consistent, or do they vary?

Hi everyone !
It looks like there is a pattern with long loading/saving and crashes every 20 minutes.
The reason seams to be the game trying to update online features even though you have un-ticked every online option.
Inspecting the processes, Ts4.exe connects to Adobe3DNS - If no internet is available is crashes - this will happen every 20 minutes ( I have still to check my hosts and some rules under my very tight network security NAT)
This happens every 20 minutes sharp.
If Internet is on, the game runs forever with no issues, loading and saving is fast and responsiveness is optimum.
The previous version used to run fine offline, this only started after City Living.
Hope this gives you a glance and a chance for others to find out about crashing problems - I'll investigate further until I can have full offline gaming.

Hello and welcome to the Forum @NopOneSpecial!
Thanks for sharing this, it could be another clue to investigate further. So here's what I did earlier: disconnected the internet, started the game, and crash after 6-7 minutes. It wouldn't be surprising if we assumed that the thing with "every 20 minutes" means the game attempts to connect to the net every 20 minutes of the game process actually running.
But I re-started the game after that with the internet still disconnected, played 50 minutes, no crash. The "only" thing I can think of I did differently this time was to run the game as Administrator (I forgot the first time about it), but the initial crash could have been caused by anything.
Suppose we managed to find out those "contact servers" and added them as exclusions in the host file, wouldn't the crashing still persist though? If this is a real thing, I guess for the time being it may be an idea to leave the internet on while playing. Is it the "best" solution? Maybe not, but at least it's convenient. As much as I'm aware of all the privacy & security-related implications this could bring along (and as small as these risks may appear to look).
Later on I'll play more TS4 with the internet being off, and see how it goes from there.

Hi @The_gh0stm4n !
Thank you for the welcoming
After further investigation, is seams to be a dummy connection that never leaves the host, so there's no problems outside as far as I can see.
There is however an exception the game throws after each crash, it mentions a dll file related to DX11 video card driver (maybe a spoof) not sure yet. filename is aticfx32.dll .
I'm a developer and I'm using beta drivers but it only happens while not having an available network on the system, that's very strange to say the least.
I'll have to dig more into it, and keep the community informed !
Thanks again
Sorry I'm having trouble with fonts and colors... I'm new to the forum format, still have to set it up properly

That is indeed highly strange, but it seems there is a lot we don't know about this cracked TS4 game yet. I recall another user claiming he had to disconnect his main internet, and re-connect through the smartphone's wifi in order to get the game running...
Thanks again for the insight!
