TS4.exe has been changed or removed? [SOLVED]

Hi,

I've installed the Sims 4 as per the instructions, and for some reason when I try to run it, this keeps popping up:

" This item 'TS4.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?"

I'm not sure where I went wrong exactly, as, again, I've done everything exactly as instructed. Should I be checking after every installation to see if it is working properly? I checked after the base game was installed, and it was fine, but didn't check after every expansion pack. 

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It worked! Thank you so much!! I've been trying to figure this out since yest, and I really should have continued reading beyond the "Done!" in the installation instructions. I feel super silly now, haha. Thanks again, I really appreciate your time.

Good that it's nothing worse than just an obsolete desktop shortcut.   Feel free to open a new topic anytime again you need more support or advice. Until then, have fun with the game!
